Festus boys’ hoops heads across town to battle Jefferson

The annual crosstown rivalry that defines the Twin Cities hits the hardwood Tuesday evening in Festus.

The Festus Tigers visit the Jefferson Bluejays as both teams try to build momentum heading into the postseason.

Festus has won back-to-back games and six of its last 9.

Tigers head coach Jason Therrell points to better success in crunch time and the addition of point guard Arhmad Branch.

Jefferson has been up-and-down all season, but the Bluejays finally won back-to-back games for the first time this season over their last two to improve to 11-10.
Jefferson was able to beat Festus 55-47 when they played on December 30th in the Central Christmas Tournament.
Coverage of this edition of the Tigers and the Bluejays begins with the Fleig’s Equipment Pregame Show at 6:45 on AM 1400 KJFF.
