Festus-Crystal City elks dedicates their new flag

(Festus, Crystal City) A crowd of around 150 people attended the new flag dedication at the Festus-Crystal City Elks Lodge #1721 on Monday. Jake Lunsford was the Exalted Ruler of the lodge in 2021 and began the process of fundraising for the flag.
It took over a year and a half to raise the money needed to have the flag installed on the property. The process continued in 2022 with then-exalted Ruler Chip Price and concluded with current ruler Buddy Shadowens.
