Festus Fire Chief passes away

Festus Fire Chief Kevin Cremer passed away this (Monday) morning from complications with Covid-19. Festus Mayor Sam Richards says this is tough news for the Festus family.

Cremer had been with the Festus Fire Department since 2005, and was the first-ever full-time chief, taking on that position in 2019.

Chief Cremer is survived by his wife Tanya, one son, and one daughter. Funeral arrangements are pending and under the direction of the Mahn Twin City Chapel in Festus. Chief Cremer was 48-years-old.
