Festus Searching For A New Public Works Director

(FESTUS) The City of Festus is currently taking applications for a new Public Works Director. Matt Unrein resigned from the position a few weeks ago to take on a new venture with the city of Columbia Missouri. Festus City Administrator Greg Camp says it was a good fit for Unrein.
Camp says Unrein will have some responsibilities that you don’t see in Jefferson County.
Camp says Unrein will be missed in Festus.
Unrein was the City Administrator for the City of Arnold from 2006 until 2012 and then was the Public Works Director in Ferguson from 2013 until taking the Festus position in 2020. Festus is currently taking applications for a new Public Works Director and information can be found on their website Festus MO dot gov.
