Festus Splash Pad Will Be Known As Turtle Cove

(FESTUS) The City of Festus is moving forward when it comes to planning for a splash pad to be built in Larry G. Crites Memorial Park. On Thursday night, the Festus Park Board met and came up with ideas as to what the mini water park will look like according to Festus City Administrator Greg Camp.

Camp says naming it Turtle Cove makes sense.

Camp says designing Turtle Cove, and then preparing the site will take some time.

The plan is to also have an all-inclusive playground as part of the project for people of all ages and disabilities to be able to utilize. The Festus City Council has invested 1.5 million dollars into the project.
