Festus XC Runner Max McDaniel Takes Home Parkland Health Mart Pharmacy Athlete of the Week Award

(FESTUS) As announced Tuesday, state champion Festus cross country runner Max McDaniel is our latest Parkland Health Mart Pharmacy Play It Forward Athlete of the Week. Max raced to 1st place in Class 3 out of 164 runners on Saturday in Jefferson City, finishing the course in 16 minutes and 12 seconds, 13 seconds better than the 2nd place finisher.

Max has chosen Jefferson County Relay for Life, the signature fundraiser for the American Cancer Society, for his Parkland Health Mart Pharmacy $25 donation.

 
Max McDaniel’s first-place finish helped lead the Festus cross country team to their 5th consecutive Class 3 state championship.
