Filing Deadline for April Election Candidates is Coming Soon

(Ironton) There is only one major election scheduled for 2021 in Missouri and that is the April Municipal Election, featuring all local races.

Bob Lourwood is the mayor of Ironton.

He says so far, there are no contested races for the city positions that will be up for election.

The last day for candidates wanting to file for city positions, board of education seats and other local positions throughout the state is Tuesday.

If you are not registered to vote, the last day you can do that to be eligible to vote in the April 6th election is March 10th.
