Firefighters Respond to House Springs 1st Alarm Residential Fire on Christmas Eve

(House Springs) Firefighters in northern Jefferson County got an early wake up call on Christmas Eve as they responded to a residential structure fire in the 5500 block of Briarwood Drive in House Springs.
The call came in around 1:46 in the morning and first units arrived on scene at 1:56 according to High Ridge Fire Engineer John Barton.
No injuries were reported on scene.
The fire was investigated by the Missouri State Fire Marshal’s Office and the cause is currently undetermined, but the investigation remains open.
High Ridge was assisted by the Cedar Hill, Eureka, Fenton, and Saline Valley Fire Protection Districts.
