First in Program History for North County Girls Soccer – Wruck Signs with Stephens College

(Bonne Terre, Mo.) A big-time offensive threat for the North County girls soccer team, Jill Wruck signed with Stephens College to continue her playing career and becomes the first Lady Raider soccer player to do so.

She says she chose Stephens College after seeing how close the team was and how much fun they had on social media.

Being the first North County girls soccer player to go on to play at the college level comes with the opportunity to put the Lady Raider program on the map and should help to grow the interest in joining the team at the high school.

Wruck says she welcomes that responsibility and embraces the chance to be looked up to by the rest of the Lady Raiders soccer players.

Rob O’Keefe took over as head coach of the North County girls soccer team this year after having served as an assistant in years past while also being the head coach of the boys soccer team.

He says Wruck brings a unique skillset to the pitch.

Wruck will join a Stephens College women’s soccer team that went 7-12 this past season.
