First responders ask that everyone make responsible choices when attending prom this year

(Festus) While a few area high schools have already hosted prom this year, a lot of school districts have not.

With that in mind, first responders are asking that attendees make responsible choices. Festus Police Chief Tim Lewis follows up on that message.

Pevely Police Chief Mark Glenn adds parents should not encourage such behavior.

Prom for Festus High School is upcoming this Saturday and will be held at Fore Honor Golf & Event Center.
