Flatland Cavalry to Headline a Night at the Crawford County Fair

(Cuba) The Crawford County Fair will have a big birthday this year.

The 75th fair takes place July 12th through the 16th at Hood Park in Cuba and live music will be front and center.

On Friday night the 15th and Saturday night the 16th, a total of six musical acts will perform.

One of those is a six piece group from Texas called Flatland Cavalry.

Cleo Cordero is the lead singer and guitarist for the group.

He says most of the band members all met at Texas Tech University.

Cordero says once you see your first Flatland Cavalry concert, you’ll be hooked.

Flatland Cavalry headlines the Crawford County Fair Friday night, July 15th at 9:30 on the main stage.

Kasey Tyndall will open on the main stage that night at 8.

The music will keep going into that Friday night as Kricket Alley, one of Missouri’s top variety party bands takes the Beer Garden Stage at 10:30.

Then on Saturday night the 16th, the Davisson Brothers Band plays the main stage at 8 with the headliner Aaron Watson at 9:30.

Then at 10:30, another Missouri group, the Iron Road Band will rock the rest of your night from the Beer Garden Stage.

The Crawford County Fair at Hood Park in Cuba will also have all the other traditional events you know and love.

J-98 will broadcast one of the evenings from the fair.

And don’t miss the Turnbough Special next Thursday afternoon and the Friday afternoon of  the Flatland Cavalry concert.

Luke will play some of their songs and you’ll hear the full interview with Cleo Cordero.

The Turnbough Special starts at 4:30 every weekday afternoon on J-98.
