Former Park Hills Councilman Awaits Sentencing after Pleading Guilty to Drug Trafficking

(Farmington) A former Park Hills city councilman decided to plead guilty Friday in St. Francois County court to first degree felony drug trafficking instead of taking his case to trial.
54-year-old Steven Sutton was charged with drug trafficking in March 20217.
Before his arrest, he served Park Hills in Ward 1.
The court says Sutton is a prior and persistent offender.
Sutton will have his final appearance in the St. Francois County courthouse on March 27th when he will be sentenced.
