Former Player Turned Head Coach – Brad Gross Takes Over Central Boys Basketball Program

(Park Hills, Mo.) The Central boys basketball team has hired their new head coach and it will be a familiar face for Rebels fans.

Brad Gross, a graduate of Central High School and a former All-State player for the basketball team, has signed on and will be taking over the boys basketball program.

Having spent the past few seasons as the head coach of the 8th grade boys basketball team at Central Middle School, Gross says his goal was always to coach the Rebels’ varsity team.

Gross takes over a Central team that went 21-8 this past season and took home a Class 4 District Championship. However, the Rebels did graduate five extremely talented seniors.

Gross says he’s looking forward to the challenges that next year will bring.

Despite the departure of a decorated senior class, the Rebels bring back a talented roster headlined by the starting point guard from this past season, Mason Williams.

Gross says he knows expectations will still be high.

Over the past eight seasons, the Central boys basketball team has had six seasons of over 20 wins in addition to earning six District Championships.
