Leah Thompson has been named Missouri Youth Pork Ambassador for 2024
A local high school senior has been named Missouri Youth Pork Ambassador for 2024. Leah Thompson attends Fredericktown High School. She tells us how this honor came her way.
Thompson says she will be staying busy this year.
Leah Thompson’s parents are Amy and Dmitri Thompson. Besides attending school in Fredericktown, Leah works at Cedar Creek Hardwoods, Jayce Mountain Pork and at Laut’s Hog Farm. Thompson will graduate from Fredericktown High School on Saturday, May 18th. In the fall, she plans to attend Mineral Area College and will then transfer to Central Methodist University in Fayette, Missouri.
