French Village Woman Sent To Hospital After Car Crash

(Ste. Gen County) A car crash in Ste. Genevieve County Tuesday sent woman from French Village to the hospital. According to highway patrol, 26-year-old Silverio Ramirez of French Village was traveling eastbound on Dry Fork Road in his 2017 Chevy Impala when he crossed the center of the road and struck a 2016 Ford Fusion driven by 53-year-old Hope Kleine. Ramirez’s car overturned but he suffered no injuries in the crash. Kleine was not wearing a safety device at the time of the crash and was taken to Mercy Hospital Jefferson with moderate injuries.
