Fundraiser This Weekend for Local Family in Need

A fundraiser for the family of Miller Violet Phillips, a 14-month old girl from Desloge who has been diagnosed with cancer is coming up this weekend. Katie Morris is the aunt of Phillips.

Morris tells us what the proceeds will help with.

And Morris says they will have other fundraisers later in the year.

The fundraiser for Miller Phillips is Saturday from 11 until 5 at the Mineral Area Elks Lodge in Desloge, located at 1438 East Chestnut Street. Monetery donations can also be made at any First State Community Bank location.
