Good Response at Meeting on New Shepherd Mountain Bike Park in Ironton

(Ironton) About 40 leaders from Iron and surrounding counties took part in a meeting Tuesday in Ironton to discuss the Shepherd Mountain Bike Park currently being built in the Arcadia Valley.
Chuck Correll owns Fort Davidson Cafe and is a member of the Arcadia Valley Tourism Committee.
He was pleased with this meeting.
Correll says once the mountain bike park is open, it will not just be a boost for the economy of Iron County and the Arcadia Valley but neighboring counties too.
Phase 1 of constructing the park consists of building five different bike trails.
Phase 2 will feature the building of even more trails and amenities.
Officials hope Shepherd Mountain Bike Park in Ironton will open sometime next spring.
