Governor Parson Delivers 5th State of State Address

(Jefferson City) Governor Mike Parson delivered his 5th State of the State Address Wednesday afternoon to the entire Missouri Legislature in the House Chambers at the state capitol in Jefferson City.

A strong internet connection is something many would take for granted.

However, there are still many in southeast Missouri and other parts of the state who do not have a reliable strong internet service.

The governor wants to continue to see improvements in broadband services for rural areas.

Many parents are well aware of child care challenges in Missouri.

The governor tells us about his plan to improve on that and his proposal to help out low-income parents whose child is a year away from starting their first year of formal education.

Governor Parson’s State of the State Address was broadcast Wednesday on Regional Radio.
