Ground Beef Recall for Farmington Schnucks

(Farmington) A recall of all varieties of fresh ground beef purchased at the Farmington Schnucks has been announced by the company.

Fresh ground beef purchased at that store before 12:30 p.m. on Saturday should return the product to the store for a full refund or exchange.

Schnucks says the product may contain pieces of plastic wrap.

Those who purchased the Schnucks fresh ground beef with a sell-by date of April 19th should return the product to the Farmington store.

On Saturday, when the news release was issued, Schnucks officials said they were not aware of any reported illnesses.

They say this is an isolated incident that does not affect any other Schnucks stores.
