Has the City of Farmington Outgrown Long Memorial Hall?

(Farmington) Growth in the city of Farmington has city leaders wondering if the town has outgrown the current home of city hall and some other city offices.

Mayor Larry Forsythe says this was discussed at Monday night’s city council meeting.

Mayor Forsythe says they have two locations the City is thinking about using.

The mayor says one of those locations seems to be better than the other.

Forsythe says this new building would also have a drive-thru window to play bills.

He says it’s estimated to be a 4-million dollar project.

The City has asked for bids from architects to render drawings of the possible new building.

The plan still needs approval from the Farmington City Council before it becomes official.
