Health Care Workers Protest in Potosi

(Potosi) A group of health care workers protested Wednesday in Potosi, asking for hazard pay because of COVID-19. Georgia McMahan, the spokeswomen for the group, explains why they are protesting.
The group works at Georgian Gardens Nursing Home and believe that because of the dangers of COVID-19 and their possible exposure to the virus they should be given proper PPE, paid sick leave and hazard pay.
