Herculaneum cancels Easter Egg hunts but hopes others will proceed

(Herculaneum) Normally on Easter weekend or the weekend prior to Easter itself, Herculaneum would host both an adult and children’s Easter Egg hunt at the city park. However, the city decided to cancel it again this year due to safety concerns with the pandemic according to Herculaneum Mayor Bill Haggard.

Haggard says they hope to hold some of their annual fall events and beyond.

Several other annual easter egg hunts hosted by area churches and organizations have been postponed.
