Five different female athletes will compete in their respective individual events at the Class 3 State Championships. Nautica Stricklin will run in the 1600-meter race alongside teammate Alex Becker. Stricklin will also participate in the 3200-meter race. Ashley Vaughn will run in the 200-meter dash, Emily Fischer the 800-meters and Arielle Prince in the pole vault.

Coach Cook believes he has quite a few All-State qualifiers within this group.

For the boys track and field team at Herky, Corben Clubb finished 2nd at Sectionals in the 800-meter run. Loki Cortner and Jonathon Coffman made the top four in their runs in the 1600 and 3200-meters. Coach Cook sets his expectations for this group.
