High speed chase protocol

(Hillsboro) Many law enforcement agencies have their own procedures and policies when it comes to pursuits and high-speed chases. Jefferson County Sheriff Dave Marshak says it comes down to safety and when to back off if it gets too dangerous.

The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office was involved in a pursuit just last week, which traveled into different jurisdictions, but ended safely and an arrest was made.
