Highway 21 fatal accident near DeSoto

A Blackwell man was killed in a single-vehicle accident on Highway 21 north of Lembeck Lake Road near DeSoto this (Thursday) morning. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 68-year old James Pashea was driving a 2004 Toyota 4Runner north on 21, crossed the center line and traveled off the left side of the roadway, struck a rock bluff, and overturned. Pashea was not wearing his seatbelt and was pronounced deceased at the scene by Valle Ambulance District personnel. The accident took place just before 6:30 this (Thursday) morning.
