Hillsboro Hawk Dom Sutton is Applebee’s Athlete of the Week

(HILLSBORO) Dom Sutton of the Hillsboro Hawks baseball team is this week’s Applebee’s of Farmington/Regional Radio Athlete of the Week. Against North County last week, Sutton had six strikeouts enroute to a no hitter. He also had three hits and drove in three runs in the game.
Sutton says he felt good on the mound after getting a lot of pitching practice this past winter.
When he isn’t pitching, Sutton plays shortstop. Dom’s brother, Gunner is a junior and is the Hawk’s third baseman. Rounding out the Hawk’s infield at second base is Keynen Drury and at first base is Easton Day. Those two players are close friends of Gunner’s so Dom is familiar with them.
For being named Athlete of the Week, Dom Sutton received a t-shirt, certificate, and a coupon for a free entree from Applebee’s in Farmington.
