Hillsboro Junior Preston Brown Named Applebee’s Athlete Of The Week

(Hillsboro) After leading the Hillsboro Hawks to a game-winning touchdown in the final seconds of their game against Cape Central last Friday night, junior quarterback Preston Brown was chosen as the Applebee’s of Farmington Athlete of the Week.

Brown was 10-of-17 passing for 150 yards and three touchdowns and two interceptions through the air and he ran 11 times for 113 yards in the 35-28 victory over a Class Five state semi-finalist from a year ago.

As Athlete of the Week, Preston Brown will receive a t-shirt, certificate, and a coupon for a free entree at Applebee’s in Farmington.
