Hillsboro’s Emily Wright Selected to J-98 Track Dream Team

(HILLSBORO) Emily Wright, a sophomore hurdler, relay runner, javelin thrower, high jumper and long jumper at Hillsboro High School was recently named to the J-98 Girls Track and Field Dream Team. Wright says of all the events she participates in, she enjoys being a hurdler.
According to Wright, one of the highlights of her track season came in Jefferson City at the State Championships during the 100 meter hurdles when she broke a school record held by her sister Mya.
Wright set the new Hillsboro record in the 100 meter hurdles with a 5th place time of 15.24 seconds.
