Hillsboro’s Litzsinger returns to wrestling Dream Team

Hillsboro Hawks junior Dalton Litzsinger is one of many wrestlers on his team having a terrific career.

But he’s the only one who can claim to be a two-time member of the Regional Radio Dream Team.

Litzsinger got the nod again from coaches after finishing fourth in the state in Class 3 at 138 pounds.

He says it’s exciting to receive the honor again in a sport he’s been playing since he was much younger.

Litzsinger has won 3 district titles in his career and has a third-place finish at state at 132 in 2020 on his trophy shelf.

But he says he learned right away that wrestling is a sport where you work hard to earn every accolade.

But, at the end of the day, Litzsinger says he knows he can achieve any goal because of his teammates, coaches and family.

Litzsinger has already won 135 matches in his career and is a 3-time state qualifier after winning his weight class at sectionals this season.
