Hillsboro’s Patterson makes football Dream Team as freshman

It was a fairly spectacular debut for Hillsboro’s Jaxin Patterson.

The freshman running back piled up over 1,300 yards and 15 touchdowns on his way to being named to the Regional Radio Dream Team.

Patterson says he wasn’t really expecting to become a star in his first season.

Patterson didn’t miss a beat in year one on the gridiron, leading the Hawks to an MAFC Red division championship and earning first-team all-conference.
He says his teammates and coaches put him in a position to succeed.

Patterson is the only freshman on the football Dream Team.
