House Springs man killed in three vehicle crash on I-55 near Imperial Main Street

(Imperial) One person was killed and another injured in a 3 vehicle traffic accident on Interstate 55 in Jefferson County. The highway patrol says 40-year-old Kenneth Tatum of House Springs lost control of his car while traveling north. He hit the concrete barrier and slid back into traffic. His car was then hit by two other vehicles, also traveling north on I-55. Tatum wasn’t wearing a safety device and was pronounced dead at the scene. One of the other drivers suffered minor injuries. The accident happened late Saturday night on I-55 south of Imperial Main Street in Jefferson County.
