Iron County Sheriff Offers Advice To Motorists Driving in Rural Areas During The Winter

(Ironton) Tonight is supposed to be a cold one.

When traveling country highways and roads in this type of weather and you happen to break down or end up in a ditch because of slick roads, it could take much longer for you to be helped compared to if you are in a more populated area.

Iron County Sheriff Jeff Burkett has this advice for those traveling in rural areas during the winter time.

Tonight’s low is expected be in the single digits around 6 degrees. Friday’s high temperature is supposed to be in the mid 20s.
