Irondale Man to Federal Prison for Child Porn

(St. Louis) U.S. District Court Judge Stephen Clark sentenced a man from Irondale to a hefty prison sentence Tuesday for producing child porn.

Andrew Hotchkiss will spend the next 27.5 years in a federal prison.

That will be followed by a lifetime of supervised probation.

Hotchkiss had pleaded guilty to the charge back in November.

A news release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office says between March 1st of 2019, and May 13th of 2019 in St. Francois County, Hotchkiss sexually abused a victim who was 6-years-old.

Hotchkiss used his phone to record and produce images of his sexual abuse of the victim.

Hotchkiss then distributed the images and videos of the abuse to others, including a resident from Oregon. On May 13th of 2019, troopers with the Oregon State Police located the above-reference images and videos on a phone belonging to an Oregon resident who was in police custody after attempting to meet an 11-year-old in order to abuse.

Oregon State Police’s investigation and their recovery of the abusive images and videos got the ball rolling in this case which eventually led to the Irondale man’s arrest, conviction and now hefty prison sentence.
