JCHD sets up first Covid-19 vaccination clinic at Festus location

(Hillsboro) Last week, the Jefferson County Health Department announced they entered into a lease agreement with Jones Festus Properties LLC for use of the old Shop N Save building to host vaccination clinics for the next several months. Health Department Director Kelley Vollmar says they plan to host the first vaccination clinic at that location next week.

Vollmar says having this location which will be for their use only, will make it easy to host multiple vaccination clinics in a week.

The JCHD was also able to get vaccination clinics set up at DeSoto Baptist Church, in fact, a clinic was held there last week in which 700 Covid-19 vaccines were administered. The Health Department now has four separate locations for Covid-19 vaccination clinics…First Baptist Church in Arnold, First Baptist Church in DeSoto, the Festus location at the old Shop N Save, and the Health Department High Ridge office.

To schedule to get the Covid-19 vaccine, fill out the form on the Jefferson County Health Department website, jeffco health dot org, or call the JCHD COVID-19 Vaccine Registration Line at 636-789-8941.
