Jeffco Shop with a Cop Trunk or Treat coming next month

(Hillsboro) The Designer Bag Bingo fundraiser for Jeffco Shop with a Cop was highly successful last month, raising over $30,000. The next big fundraising event will be held next month and will be their Trunk Or Treat at the Hillsboro Civic Center. Captain Lewis Pippen with the Festus Police Department is the Vice President of Jeffco Shop with a Cop. He says the event is always a lot of fun as first responders will decorate one of their vehicles depending on the theme.

Captain Pippen says it’s free for kids to attend and votes for the best theme turn into donations.

The theme for last year’s event was Disney, and this year will be Game Shows. The Jeffco Shop with a Cop Trunk or Treat will be held on Sunday, October 22nd.
