JeffCo’s Brown earns all-conference hoops honors

Jefferson College sophomore guard Tyra Brown has been named first-team all-conference in Missouri Community College Athletic Conference women’s basketball.

Brown was the leading scorer in the MCCAC and fourth in the nation averaging 23.2 points per game.

Brown started and played every game for the Vikings this season.

Teammates Chiara De Virgillo and Agustina Talsimov were named second-team all-conference.

JeffCo went 14-16 this season in women’s basketball.
