Jefferson Boys Win at St. Pius 83-60

(FESTUS)    The Jefferson Blue Jays are now at the five hundred mark as they won at St. Pius Friday night 83-60. Jefferson’s Nate Breeze and Kaleb Weiler each notched 18 points apiece to propel the Jays to the win. The game was heard on AM 1400 KJFF and mymoinfo.com Jefferson led 20-19 at the end of the first quarter and had a 41-30 advantage at halftime on which they expanded the rest of the game.
Blue Jays head coach Sean Breeze says his team played within their strengths.

Breeze complimented Blue Jay C.J. Johnson who pumped in 16 points with the help of five three pointers.

For the Lancers, they were led in scoring by Patrick Flanagan who had 20 points.

Reflecting on the loss, St. Pius head coach Chris Miller says the team needs to tweak a few things heading into district play.

St. Pius is 11-12, and they are at Grandview on Tuesday. Jefferson is 11-11, their last regular season game is this Tuesday night at St. Paul Lutheran in Farmington.
