(Hillsboro) Jefferson County has opened things up a little more in terms of the Covid-19 pandemic, but not completely like other parts of the state. Jefferson County Health Department Director Kelly Vollmar says there are still restrictions at stores and restaurants.

Vollmar says stores and restaurants will still need to social distance and have safety measures in place.

Vollmar says they have developed indicators that will be released on a weekly basis.

Vollmar says the indicators can change depending on what the medical facilities can handle in terms of new Covid-19 cases.

The Jefferson County Health Department will release the colored indicators on either Thursday or Friday each week. Currenty, Jefferson County is in the yellow.
