Jefferson County Sheriff’s Dept. Officer Involved Shooting
(FESTUS)    The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an officer-involved shooting Monday morning where a man was shot and killed after assaulting deputies who were attempting to arrest him.
According to Grant Bissell, Public Safety Information Coordinator for the sheriff’s department, at 11:30 AM deputies were in the 400 block of Montauk near Festus to serve a no-bond arrest warrant to 37-year-old Anthony Stratmann Jr., 37, of  Imperial. Bissell says Stratmann was wanted for making terroristic threats at the Jefferson County Courthouse.  According to Bissell, Stratmann was on the front porch when deputies arrived.

Bissell says the deputies were not injured.
