Jefferson Franklin Community Action Corporations Community Trust Program ongoing

(Hillsboro) The Jefferson Franklin Community Action Corporation’s Community Trust Program is ongoing in three separate communities.
One of the projects is in the Hillsboro R-3 School District which recently held it’s final project selection meeting.
Donna Masters is a Community Manager with the JFCAC. She says there was a few final projects voted on including a discovery trail, splash pad and even pickleball court.
Masters further explains how the trail in Hillsboro park will be updated.
The JFCAC will provide up to $15-thousand for the community trust project.
Masters adds if funding allows, the JFCAC will consider adding an additional project like funding for a splash pad.
