Jefferson’s Siebert named Applebee’s of Farmington Athlete of the Week

(Festus) Jefferson Blue Jays junior Paige Siebert is the Applebee’s of Farmington Athlete of the Week.

After the Blue Jays started the new volleyball season 0-2, Siebert lead Jefferson to 8 wins in 10 matches this week, including 7 victories at the Dig For Life Invitational in Cape Girardeau.

Siebert finished with 239 assists in those 10 matches.

Blue Jays head coach Tara Fish says Siebert has really settled in to being the team’s setter.

Siebert also had 10 kills, 8 aces and 4 blocks last week as Jefferson finished second in a 57-team division at Dig For Life.

As Athlete of the Week, she receives a T-shirt, a certificate and a coupon for a free entree at Applebee’s in Farmington.
