JPAD still waiting on new ambulance and current call volume

(Festus, Crystal City) The Joachim-Plattin Ambulance District has been operating close to normal over the past several months in terms of their calls for service and such. However, JPAD Administrator Curt Stueve (Steve) says they are still waiting for a new ambulance they ordered in 2019.

Stueve (Steve) says their average calls for service are back to where they were before Covid-19.

The Joachim-Plattin Ambulance District covers all of the Quad Cities of Festus, Crystal City, Herculaneum, and Pevely, as well as areas west near Hillsboro and southeast near DeSoto. The district also travels south along I-55 all the way to the Ste. Genevieve County line.
