Kannon Harlow Signs To Be A Decathlete At Mizzou Next Year

(Park Hills) Kannon Harlow is a senior and three-sport athlete at Central High School in Park Hills. That should help him in his next athletic venture. Harlow has committed to the Mizzou track and field team where he’ll participate in the decathlon for the Tigers. Harlow says Mizzou assistant coach Jordan Andreassen reached out to him at the end of the summer.

The decathlon is a combined event consisting of 10 track and field events, including running, jumping, throwing and vaulting.
Harlow has finished top three in the state in pole vault twice in his career. He qualified for state in the long jump last year and runs the 100 meter dash for the Rebels. He tells us about his goals for his senior season.

Harlow owns the Central High School record in pole vault and he jumped 15’1″ at Bell Athletics in Jonesboro, Arkansas this past summer. He also plays football and basketball for the Rebels.
