Karsen Dement signs with St. Louis Community College

(IRONTON) Arcadia Valley volleyball senior Karson Dement signed today (Wednesday) to play at the collegiate level. Dement will be joining St. Louis Community College – Meremac for the upcoming season and Archers head coach Geoff Davis says Dement is a special player that he’s been in contact with since her freshman season.
Dement is the recent in a trend of Tigers signing to play at the next level. AV head coach Tara Lamb says the versatitlity of her second-team MAAA player is what makes her stand out.
Dement tore her ACL her sophomore season which caused her to miss a final four game in the state tournament. Since that time, she has rebounded to reach her goal of playing collegiate volleyball. She says her community around her was a factor in acheiving her goals.
