Kingston Looking to Continue Historic Season Facing New Madrid County

(PARK HILLS) The Kingston Cougars boys basketball team is having their best season in program history, and look to continue their playoff push Saturday afternoon as they take on the New Madrid County Central Eagles.

The game will be played at Central High School in Park Hills.

Kingston has won five of their last six, and defeated Jefferson Tuesday night to advance to the quarterfinals.  For Head Coach Paul Hamilton,  Saturday’s game comes down to three key factors that have been preached all season.

The Eagles head into this state quarterfinal matchup at 24-3. They defeated the Charleston Blue Jays 74 to 55 to make it to the quarterfinals.  The winner will head to Columbia to be a part of the Show-Me Showdown, with games beginning next week. The Kingston Cougars play New Madrid County Central in the Class 3 MSHSAA Quarterfinals.  Coverage will begin at 3:45, with tipoff set for 4 p.m. on J-98 The Boot.
