Lake Hanna Man Arrested for Child Pornography

(Lake Hanna) The Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested a man from Lake Hanna Thursday in St. Francois County for possessing child porn.

50-year-old Brandel Lee Akers was taken to the jail in Farmington.

He has been charged with three counts of possession of child pornography and his bond has been set at 200-thousand dollars.

The grand jury complaint says Akers possessed graphic photos of female children between the ages of 7 and 11.

At least one photo showed a girl with an adult female, engaging in sexually explicit conduct.

No initial court date has been set yet for Akers.
