Lesterville’s Holden Laughman Signs with Fontbonne University Men’s Basketball
(Lesterville, Mo.) A standout player for the Lesterville Bearcats boys basketball team, Holden Laughman signed to continue his playing career next year with the Fontbonne University men’s basketball team.
He says he chose Fontbonne because it seemed like a great fit for his style of play.
Laughman helped lead the Bearcats to back-to-back 21 win seasons and back-to-back runner-up finishes in the District Tournament.
He says his time at Lesterville has prepared him for the next level.
Head coach of the Lesterville boys basketball team Anthony Caruso says Fontbonne is getting an exceptionally talented and unselfish player.
In his career with the Bearcats, Laughman was named All-Conference and All-District each of the past three years and was tabbed All-State and Academic All-State following this past season.
He is also the Lesterville boys basketball all-time leading scorer with 1,501 career points.
