Letters to Santa in Festus still going for a little longer

(Festus) While the first video of Santa reading the letters sent to him by area kids has been posted to the City of Festus YouTube channel, there is still time to submit those letters before the end of the Christmas season. Barb Lowry, the Director of Tourism and Recreation for the City of Festus, says it’s as simple as stopping by the Santa House at Schnieder Park at any time to drop them in the mailbox.

Lowry says Santa reads the letters live, and the video is available for anyone to watch.

The first night of Santa reading those letters was this past Friday…and over 100 letters were placed in the mailbox. Children can continue to drop their letters in Santa’s mailbox up until Wednesday of this week, and Santa will read the next batch of letters this Friday (12/15) night.
