Louisiana, MO Man Seriously Injured in Two-Vehicle Jefferson County Accident.

A man from Louisiana, Missouri is facing serious injuries following a two-vehicle accident in Jefferson County on Monday afternoon. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 2007 Kia Rondo, being driven by 30-year old Nathan Helmig of Maryland Heights, was stuck in northbound traffic on Hwy 21, at mile marker 175-point-4. The Kia’s rear-end was then struck by a 2018 Chevrolet Colorado being driven by 33-year old Jacob Stoops of Louisiana, Missouri. Helmig was not injured, but Stoops was taken to Mercy Hospital South with serious injuries.
