MAC baseball piles up runs against Hannibal Lagrange JV

In the first game of a doubleheader Monday heard on KREI, the Mineral Area College men’s baseball team defeated Hannibal Lagrange JV 14-0 in five innings. Sophomore catcher Liam Hicks entered the contest with 10 home runs, good for second in the country, and he moved into a tie for first with another long ball in the MAC rout.
MAC once again defeated Hannibal Lagrange in the second game by a final of 14-2.
Cardinals assistant head coach Jordan Thompson remains impressed with Hicks.
The Mineral Area College men’s baseball team is now 16-2 on the year and will look to improve on their 4-2 record in Region 16 play on Thursday at Crowder for a four game series.
